I recently had the opportunity to try out an entry-level remote controlled prostate stimulator (it’s currently priced between 60 and 70 dollars). The ANOS RC Prostate butt plug by Orion isn’t a butt plug, it’s a prostate massager, however, it does stay in place pretty well when inside me, which I’ll get to later. Let’s dive into the review of the Orion ANOS Prostate Butt Plug!
The ANOS RC was sent to me for free by Peepshow Toys in return for an honest review. If you enjoy reading on this website then please consider using the links in the article, I appreciate your support!
Well readers, it’s been some time since I last wrote a review. I’ve had a crazy year… but enough with that, let’s get onto what you came here for. I’m particularly excited about this prostate toy because while it isn’t a big brand name or the height of luxury, it’s a toy that can potentially bring new people into prostate stimulation without them having to spend a huge amount.
The ANOS RC butt plug by Orion boasts two motors for vibration (one in the shaft and another in the perineum arm), but it’s important to note that the power isn’t extremely intense. Vibration motors can be categorised based on two factors: power and the buzzy to rumbly ratio. High-end stimulators normally have powerful and rumbly motors, while cheaper options often have buzzy and less powerful motors. This budget prostate stimulator falls somewhere in the middle, leaning more towards the buzzy side of the spectrum. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the ANOS still provided a satisfying level of pleasure without causing any numbness, which can sometimes happen with buzzy vibrators. The ANOS RC has 7 different vibration modes, so there’s a fair bit of variation to be had from this toy.
The size of the toy is very manageable for anyone in my opinion. It’s around 3.86 inches in insertable length and has a diameter of roughly 1.1 inches (2.8 cm). My first ever prostate toy was around the same size as that and I managed it fine. The shaft of the toy is also slightly flexible which helps with overall comfort, as does the smooth silky feeling of the silicone used. Don’t disregard it as a beginner’s toy if you’re already experienced in anal sex, because it’s still a good size for prostate pleasure.
The ANOS RC comes with a physical remote control which will control the toy up to 10 metres (32 feet) away, which is enough for most rooms. Our remote also works through a closed door. While more expensive toys can be controlled via phones, I prefer physical remotes. Physical remotes are simpler and if I get lube on them, it doesn’t matter.
The toy itself is powered by a rechargeable battery, which according to information on the box has a battery life of about 2 hours and takes about the same to charge up via USB. The remote control is powered by a small disc battery (CR2032), which is similar to a watch battery, so I’d expect a battery life of at least a year from the remote.
The prostate toy itself is waterproof, so you can play with it in the shower or bath. Don’t get the remote control wet though because that part isn’t waterproof.

Let’s talk about the ANOS’ pleasure factor
Now, having a buzzy stimulator doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. In fact, I had a lot of fun with this one. It significantly enhanced my orgasms, and considering its affordable price, I was quite pleased with its performance. To be honest though, the vibrations alone weren’t enough to make me orgasm, nor did the shape of the toy specifically target my prostate in a way that would easily produce an orgasm. However, when combined with other forms of stimulation, such as sex or regular masturbation, this toy enhanced my orgasm enough to make me happy that I had it in. To be real though and to repeat, this toy is not enough stimulation on its own to make me orgasm.
Using a prostate massager has to be worth it in terms of pleasure for me, otherwise I’m doing extra cleaning for nothing (using butt stuff always means extra cleaning). The ANOS RC doesn’t blow my mind completely but I’d be happy using this thing regularly if it were my only prostate toy. I’d also prefer recommending a beginner to spend a little less money on a toy like this first in order to see if they like prostate play. Better to have an ok prostate toy to test with rather than a very expensive one that sits in your drawer forever after your first try.
Partner Play with the ANOS RC
For me, the ANOS by Orion is surprisingly suitable for partner play during sex. It stayed securely inside my body, allowing me to thrust, walk around and even squat without it falling out. This is a significant advantage, as some prostate stimulator designs (even expensive ones) can have designs which make them easy to fall out. What’s more, the ANOS RC comes with a remote control, enabling my partner to control the vibration motor without needing to physically touch the toy. This feature would be particularly useful for beginners, individuals with already busy hands, or for those intimate moments in a dark room where locating and adjusting the toy can be a challenge and/or annoying.
If you are reading this article because you are the partner and want to buy a toy like this for someone who is curious about prostate play, I say go ahead. This toy is inexpensive enough for it not to be a disaster if your partner finally decides that prostate play isn’t for them, yet it’s also good enough for you both to have fun with it. App control isn’t necessary for complete beginners unless you are in a long distance relationship. The ANOS RC with its remote control will give you plenty of control if you’re both physically together in bed.

Cleaning the ANOS RC
As the toy body of the ANOS RC is fully waterproof, it is very easy to clean. Just rinse it under the tap and wash it with soap. The remote control isn’t waterproof so if you get it dirty, wipe it off with a lightly damp cloth or even a dry cloth.

In conclusion of my review of the ANOS RC by Orion
While this entry-level prostate stimulator may not possess the strongest vibrations or the ability to induce orgasms on its own, it still provides a pleasurable experience, especially when combined with other forms of stimulation. Its ability to stay in place during sex and the convenience of the remote control make it a worthwhile option, particularly for those on a budget. Just keep in mind that if you prefer a more rumbly experience, you may want to explore other options.
However, it’s important to note a couple of drawbacks. First and foremost, this stimulator isn’t capable of bringing me to orgasm on its own. It requires additional stimulation to reach that level. Secondly, the vibrations it produces lean more towards the buzzy side rather than the rumbly side. Personally, I prefer toys with a deeper and more rumbly sensation, so sometimes I found myself wanting more rumbling power. At this price point though, the stimulation is good; I can’t reproach it too much for not having the same quality vibration motor as a toy that costs twice or three times this amount.
Thank you to Peepshow Toys for sending this toy in for review and for the patience. If our readers want to buy the toy, please check out their website because at the time of writing, the toy is on sale (may not be by the time you’re reading it, so check the link below).
